Saturday Kid’s Classes:

 

Young artists come explore your creative side! Mr. Tom will teach you composition, color mixing, perspective and drawing principles as you paint your own paintings. Plus, you will have a whole lot of fun! We start with acrylics, experience has proven that this medium allows the children to be the most successful. Here’s what you will need to get started:

All Saturday kids classes will begin on January 23rd. 

 

Adult Beginner to Intermediate Oil Painting Class Thursdays 9:30-12:00 beginning January 21st.

 

This class is what I call “Expanded Paint-a-long”.  You are free to

develop your own concepts (I encourage it J) and your finished

piece will be uniquely your own.  Yet, I will be demonstrating a

piece ‘similar’ to the piece shown and even if you’ve never painted

before, you’ll complete a painting to be proud of.  Plus, I will be

showing you the things I wish someone had taught me.  And, it will

be a fun experience.

 

Here’s what you’ll need for the first class:

1” Flat Wash brush

16” x 20” canvas (primed)

     Palette Pad

     Odorless paint thinner    

     Jar or can with a lid

     White rag (old socks work great

 

-- Bring what paints and brushes you may have

-- I will provide the paints you will need for this project.  But I will show you what   colors and brands I prefer, if you decide to purchase more supplies.

-- I am easy going and love what I do.  Six weeks on, two weeks off then we start again.
